NOTICE: Our friends in Public Works continue to work hard. The work zone for the Duck Creek Sewer Interceptor project is expanding. While the contractor continues work between Pine and Hickory, the trenchless pipe installation crew is moving west on the trail to just east and west of Fairmount. This will cause another section of the trail to be closed for public safety as a sewer pipe is installed. View map for trail details. • The Duck Creek Recreational Trail at Fairmount will be closed for approximately three weeks beginning the week of July 15. Once the crew is finished with this prep work, this section will reopen. • The Duck Creek Recreational Trail between Pine and Hickory Grove Rd will remain closed most of the summer/into early fall. Please be patient as we continue improving our city’s sewer infrastructure with this multi-year, $16.25 M, nearly 5-mile project.
